What You Will Learn
- Identify hazards and complete pre-operational checks for tractors and front-end loaders.
- Select, attach, remove and use tractor implements safely, including three-point linkage, power take-off driven and trailed equipment.
- Operate tractors with attachments on suitable terrain and use safe towing practices.
- Prepare and operate a front-end loader and its attachments within equipment limits.
- Shut down, secure and complete routine checks and records for the machinery used.

- Prerequisites
- No formal unit prerequisites. Contact LTT to discuss any site or equipment requirements.
- Assessment
- Practical skills and knowledge are assessed separately for each unit. Attendance alone does not guarantee a competency outcome.
- Course Award
- A Statement of Attainment lists each unit successfully completed.
- Pricing Note
- $350 per day for three days. Contact LTT to confirm dates, location and equipment requirements.
